This is actually a simple Statistics problem but I am having trouble figuring out the exact answer. Find the arithmetic mean for the ff.data, to 2 decimal places of significance: 6,2.2,25,7,-9,10,2 and 5.9.
My answer is : 51.1/8 = 6.38 (6.38 is a wrong answer so does 6.4)
NO..TOTAL IS 49.1...SO MEAN IS 49.1/8=6.1375...CORRECTING TO 2 PLACES
WE GET .....6.14
Should the exact answer be 6.3 ? or 6.40?
What if I have to round 74.4 to 2 decimal places of significance?
IN ONE WAY , THAT IS IF YOU MISSED SOME TYPING...YOU CANT..YOU SHOULD HAVE ANSWER TO 3 PLACES TO CORRECT TO 2 PLACES..
IF YOU REALLY MEAN WHAT YOU TYPED ,THE ANSWER IS 74.40
I will appreciate whatever help you can provide. Thank you very much.
