Question 999057: A bus has 16 rows of seats. It is completely full, and each row has an equal but unknown number of kids. After fourteen kids get off the bus, only 50 kids remain on the bus.

If 50 kids remain, and 14 just got off, there must have been
50 + 14 = 64 kids on the bus.
If there were 16 equal rows, there were
64 / 16 = 4 kids in each row.
