What happens to the average cost per mile as the number of miles gets very large? could someone answer this for me with the work involved? thank you.

Your cost for x miles would be
100 + .80x
The average cost per mile would be to divide that by x and get
(100 + .80x) / x = 100/x + .80
Notice that as x gets very large, the first term shrinks and the
average cost per mile approaches 80 cents. Try x = 10000 and see
what I mean...
