Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P= 2(L+W)
L=x
W=(x/2)+3
54=2(x+(x/2)+3), units in feet
54=2x+x+6=3x+6
48=3x, subtracting 6 from both sides
x=16 feet, length.
Width is 11 feet.
The perimeter is 27*2=54 feet.
The width is three more than half the length.
