A swimming pool has developed a leak at a constant rate of 28 litres per minute. After 20 minutes of leaking the pool is 90% full capacity. How much water will be in the pool when it is 70% full capacity?
***
at a leak rate of 28 litres/min, after 20 min:
28*20=560 liters of water is lost which is 10% of full capacity
100% capacity=10*560=5600 litres
at 70% capacity, 70%*5600=3920 litres
How much water will be in the pool when it is 70% full capacity? 3920 litres
