length is 4 meters longer than its width.
let x be the length of the garden
y be the wide
x = y+4
but permiter =62 m
2(x+y)= 62
2( (y+4)+y )=62
2y+4= 62/2
2y+4 =31
2y= 31-4
2y= 27 m
y= 27/2
y= 13.5 m
x= y+4
=13.5+4
=17.5 m
so length = 17.5 m
