Let length and width, be L and W, respectively

From this, the following are formed:

Perimeter equation: 2(L + W) = 28____2(L + W) = 2(14)____L + W = 14 ----- eq (i)

Equation showing relationship between length & width: L = W + 4 --------- eq (ii)
