Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1in= 1/36 yd
2in = 1/18yd
1 3/4 in = (7/4)(1/36) = 7/144
A = = 3.06 yd^2
A = = 2 1/3 yd^2
= $1.88/yd^2 ****as common sense would tell us is the better buy
=$ 2.25/yd^2
