Their neighbors have a pool 12*12 for an area of 144 sq m.
We know one side of the couple's pool is 24.
24 * 1 = 24
24 * 2 = 48
24 * 3 = 72
24 * 4 = 96
24 * 5 = 120
24 * 6 = 144
The smallest dimensions that yield an area of at least 144 and include 24 are 24*6, which is the same area as their neighbors'.
