Let 3x be the Length.
Circumference=2L+2W
280=2*3X+2X
280=6X+2X
8X=280
X=280/8
X=35 METERS ANS FOR THE WIDTH.
3*35=105 METERS ANS. FOR THE LENGTH.
PROOF:
280=2*105+2*35
280=210+70
280=280
