Question 841289: Suppose you start an ice cream business. You buy a freezer for $200. It costs you $.45 to make each single-scoop ice cream cone. You sell each cone for $1.25. How many cones do you need to sell to break even?
Answer by josgarithmetic(39630)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If revenue-cost=0, then sales break even. This means zero profit.
Cost is what the business spends.
Let v = how many cones sold
Break-even,
should be close enough although because of the small fraction included, maybe is a better answer; you do not sell 0.111 ice cream cones.
