Hi,

In a 3 digit number , 

the hundreds digit is 2 more than the ten digit:  

the unit digit is 2 less than the tens digit:    

If the sum (x + y + z) of the digit is 18 find the number.

    (y+2) + y + (y-2) = 18

            3y = 18

             y = 6,  x = 8  and z = 4

Number is 864
