Question 807243: Cannot figure this out for the life of me!
Marissa has decided to change her cell phone service providers. Company A will charge her $12 per month $0.10 per minute, while Company B will charge her $0.15 per minute with no monthly service charge.
1) Find a linear function that relates the cost C of service to total minutes t on the phone for each company... (I have C(t)=.10x +12 and C(t)=.15 but I have no idea if that is even right)
2) determine the number of minutes for which the bill from Company A will be less than the bill from Company B.
3) Determine the number of minutes for which the bill from B will be less than the bill from A.
4) Determine the number of minutes for which the bill A will be equal to B.

Please help. I am so lost!! Thanks in advance
