Perimeter:
rectangle1(L+L+W+W)=rectangle2(L+L+W+W)
combine like terms
they are equal to each other so for the perimeter d can be any number.
Area:
Rectangle1(L*W)=rectangle2(L*W)
Distribute
Subtract 4d and add 15 to each side
divide by 2

For the area d can only be 3.5.
