2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006

b) Explain your rational for the linear model that you develped. (Why did you choose the data points that you did to determine the model?)

c) Use your model to predict the sales in year 2010.

b) Explain your rational for the linear model that you develped. (Why did you choose the data points that you did to determine the model?)
-------
You have a set of 6 points: (1,30),(2,8) etc
Put them in your calculator and run a Linear Regression program against
the data.
You get a least-squares regression line: sales=-1.69038(year)+24.69807...

c) Use your model to predict the sales in year 2010.
Letting the year=10 you get sales = 7.7942
