Question 734288: I was wondering if this is the correct way to do this problem. This is the equation I came up with. L+S=200 and 1/2L + 1/3S=80. I used L for long-sleeve and S for short-sleeve. I am confusing myself with the fractions. I have
S= 3 1/3 and I did not solve for L yet. Please advise. Thank you. Here's the problem.

a. Write a system of linear equations to represent this problem situation.
b. Solve the system and determine how many of each type of shirt Marcus actually brought to the fair.
c. Write a short paragraph applying your solution to the problem situation.
