Question 732036:
In a triangle the smallest angle measures 12 degrees less than the middle angle. The measure of the largest angle is equal to the sum of the other two. Find the measures of the three angles.
Answer by checkley79(3341) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A=B-12
C=A+B
A+B+C=180
(B-12)+B+(B-12+B)=180
4B=180+12+12
4B=204
B=204/4
B=51 DEGREES FOR THE MIDDLE ANGLE.
A=51-12=39 DEGREES FOPR THE SMALLER ANGLE.
C=51+39=90 DEGREES FOR THE LARGER ANGLE.
PROOF:
39+51+90=180
180=180
