My answer is 29 games
First, there are 15 games with 2 teams per games
There is 1 winner for each game, so 15 teams survive
Now 7 games are played with 2 teams per game and 1 team left over
From the 7 games, 7 teams survive plus the leftover team = 8 teams
The 8 teams play 4 games and 4 teams survive
The 4 teams play 2 games amd 2 teams survive
The 2 teams left play each other and the champ survives
15 + 7 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 29 answer
