Question 706229: Scenario: A college student is looking to secure a hardcopy textbook for a 3 month long (12 week) course. She has the option to rent the text book for $15.00 a week, or she can purchse the book for a one-time fee of $195.
Develop an algebraic equation with clearly defined variables to represent the cost of each option. Explain the reasoning process used to translate the written description of each cost option into albegraic equations.
( I will have to graph both options on the same graph, and I am having trouble turning them into y=mx+b form! Thank you in advance! Im LOST!)
