Question 69032: Find the slope of any line perpendicular to the line through points (0, 5) and (-3, -4).
Answer by checkley75(3666) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
slope of the line through (0,5) & (-3,-4) is
(-4-5)/(-3-0)
-9/-3
3 for the slope.
thus the perpendicular line has to have a slope of the negative reciprical of this slope thus it's slope is -1/3
