Question 683879: Mr. Kumar is four times as old as his son. In 16 years he will be only twice as old. What are their ages now?
Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
K = 4s
K + 16 = 2(s+16)
...
4s + 16 = 2s + 32
4s - 2s = 32 - 16
2s = 16
s = 8
...
K = 4s = 4(8) = 32
...
Mr. Kumar is 32 and his son is 8
