35 shares of mcdonald's stocks ------x each
and 69 shares of the ohio art company ---y each
35x+69y=2814

y=x-70
substitute y in the first equation
35x+69(x-70)=2814
35x+69x-4830=2814
104x= 2814+4830
104x=7644
x=73.50 Price of Mcdonald's
y= 3.50 Price of Ohio art company
