Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hint:
x+y = 10000
y = 10000-x
----------------------
0.06x + 0.09y = 684
6x + 9y = 68400
6x + 9(10000-x) = 68400
Now solve for x. Once you have your value of x, use it to find y.
