two different cell phone companies have separate plans. Company A charges $10.00 per month plus $0.03 per minute of calls. Company B has a flat rate of $0.06 per minute. For how many minutes are the two plans the same
---------------
Let "x" be the number of "minutes of call".
Co. A: Cost=10+0.03x
Co. B: Cost=0.06x
==========
EQUATION:
Cost of A = Cost of B
10+0.03x = 0.06x
0.03x = 10
3x = 1000
x=333 1/3 minutes
