I am required to choose between the following ranges:

b.) More than 19 checks
c.) 19 or more checks
d.) 19 checks

Answer by josmiceli(19441)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let = number of checks written
Let = the cost of the plan
--------
Anywhere plan:
(1)
Accucheck plan:
(2)
-------------------
First find when the plans cost the same

Now if 1 more check is written, the cost of Accucheck plan
should be less than Anywhere olan
(2)
(2)
(2)
(2)
and, the other plan
(1)
(1)
(1)
So 20 checks need to be written
