L*w=306
w(w+1)=306
w^2+w=306
w^2+w-306=0
(w-17)(w+18)=0
w=17 cm, L=18 cm

Width of window = 1 x cm
length of window = x+ 1 cm
Area of retangle = Length * width
Area = 306 Cm^2

x(x+ 1 ) = 306

X^2 + 1 x * 1 + 1 )

X^2 + 1 x -305 = 0
x^2+18x-17x-305=0
x(x+18)-17(x+18)=0
(x-17)(x+18)=0
x=17 which is positive
the dimensions are 17 & 18
