This problem makes sense to me in that it deals with a ratio of nuts to bolts.
However, I can't see where you can get a definitive number of bolts out of the
equation, and also whether or not you should answer once the 15 nuts have been
added to the box or prior to this occurance. Maybe that doesn't matter anyway.

There are bolts and nuts in a box. The number of bolts are 88 times as many as
nuts. If 15 more nuts are put in the box, there will be only 64 times as many
bolts as nuts. How many bolts are in the box?

Translation:            B = 88N

>>...If 15 more nuts are put in the box,...<<

Translation:   There will be N+15 nuts in the box

>>...there will be only 64 times as many bolts as nuts...<<

Translation:  B will be only 64 times N+15

Or                      B = 64(N + 15)

So you have this system of equations:

                        B = 88N
                        B = 64(N + 15)

Can you solve that system? If not post again.

Answer: B = 40, N = 3520
