Below an interest of Rs 2400 one investment becomes negative. not possible
I have worked with Rs. 2550. as interest. instead of Rs 2250.
Part I 8.00% per annum
Part II 10.50% per annum

x + y 30000 ------------------------1
8.00%x+10.50%y= Rs2,550.00
Multiply by 100
8x+10.5y =Rs255,000.00 --------2

Multiply (1) by -8
we get

-8x-8y= -240000.00

Add this to (2)

2.5y=$15,000.00

divide by 2.5

y=Rs.6,000.00 investment at at 10.5%
Balance Rs.24,000.00 investment at 8%
