Not even close. Think about how you would find the average of the test scores if you knew what all three of them were. You would first add up all of the scores and then divide that sum by 3. That means that 3 times 85 is the least that the sum of the three scores can be, hence, if is the score you don't know:

Notice the use of because the problem says "85 or greater" not "greater than 85."
