An adult ticket costs $2 more than a child ticket
Let x and (x + $2)represent the cost of the child and adult ticket respectively
Question states***
2(x+ $2) + 3x = $34
solving for x
2x+ $4 + 3x = $34
5x = $30
x = $6 , the cost of the child ticket. Adult ticket is $8 ($6+$2)
