Hint: Since "Plan a you have to pay the first $110 of medical bills plus 25% of the rest", this means that the cost of plan A is dollars, where 'x' is the amount in medical bills. Also, because "Plan B you would pay the first $240 but only 20% of the rest", we know that the cost of plan B is dollars.
