Question 320318: if 3/5 is added to twice the reciprocal of a number, the result is 1. what is the number
Answer by nyc_function(2741) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let n = the number
(3/5) + 2(1/n) = 1
(3/5) + (2/n) = 1
5n * (3/5) + (2/n) * 5n = 1 * 5n
3n + 10 = 5n
10 = 5n - 3n
10 = 2n
10/2 = n
5 = n
