The denominators are equal, so this means that the numerators must be equal. So x=3, but if x=3, then we have a division by zero. Since this isn't allowed, x=3 is NOT a solution. Since x=3 was the only possible solution, there are no solutions.

Since their denominators are equal, their numerators
must be equal also, meaning the x on top on the left would 
have to equal the 3 on top on the right. But x can't equal
3 because that would make the denominators be 3-3 or 0, and
we cannot have 0 denominators.
