Question 293754: A manufacturer wants to enlarge an existing facility such that the total floor area is 1.6 times that of the current facility. The floor area of the current facility is rectangular 250 ft by 160 ft. The manufacturer wants to increase each dimension by the same amount.
Can someone walk me step by step on this problem?
