The perimeter of a rectangular field is 110 feet. The length is 7 feet more than twice the width. Find the dimensions.
---------
Perimeter = 2(length + width)
110 = 2(2w+7 + w)
55 = 3w + 7
3w = 48
w = 16 ft. (width)
length = 2w+7 = 32+7 = 39 ft.
