Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.25x+.05(8-x)=.20*8
.25x+.4-.05x=1.6
.20x=1.6-.4
.20x=1.2
x=1.2/.20
x=6 liters of 25% alcohol is used.
8-6=2 liters of 5% alcohol is used.
Proof:
.25*6+.05*2=.20*8
1.5+.1=1.6
1.6=1.6
