You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a jet leaves the charlotte, north carolina, airport traveling at an average rate of 564 Km/h. another jet leaves the airport one half hour later traveling at 744 Km/h in the same direction. use an equation to find out how long the second jet eill take to overtake the first jet.
------------------
In 1/2 hour, the 1st jet goes 282 km (564*0.5)
The 2nd jet gains on the 1st at 180 km/hr (744 - 56)
t = 282/180 hours (that's an equation)
t = 1.56666.... hours
t = 1 hour 34 minutes
-----------------
Planes don't use km/hr, they use knots.
