Equations:
g = 3s - 10
g + 2s = 3g - 8
-----------------------
Rearrange the equations:
g = 3s - 10
2g = 2s + 8
---------------------
Substitute for "g" and solve for "s":
2(3s-10) = 2s+8
6s - 20 = 2s + 8
4s = 28
s = 7 (the smaller number)

Substitute into g = 3s-10 to get g = 3*7-10 = 11 (larger number)
