Solve for X by any method; Show work.
A. 0= (1/4)x^2+2x
Multiply thru by 4 to get:
x^2 + 8x = 0
Factor:
x(x+8) = 0
x = 0 or x = -8
=========================
B. 0= 9x^2-64
Factor:
(3x-8)(3x+8) = 0
x = 8/3 or x = -8/3
=========================
C. 0= 6x^2+5x-4
6x^2 + 8x - 3x - 4 = 0
2x(3x+4) - (3x+4) = 0
(3x+4)(2x-1) = 0
x = -4/3 or x = 1/2
