Question 188943: Latoya purchased a prepaid phone card for $30. Long distance calls cost 16 cents a minute using this card. Latoya used her card only once to make a long distance call. If the remaining credit on her card is $26.48, how many minutes did her call last?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let c = no of minutes Latoya called long distance
To find out how much she spent for her call:
30-26.48=3.52
0.16*c=3.52
Dividing both sides by 0.16, we get
c = 22
Latoya's call lasted for 22 minutes
