Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area=L*W
L=W+5
24=(W+5)W
24=W^2+5W
W^2+5W=-24
W^2+5W+24=0
(W+8)(W-3)=0
W-3=0
W=3 ANS. FOR THE WIDTH
L=3+5
L=8 ANS. FOR THE LENGTH.
PROOF:
24=8*3
24=24
