Question 163419: if a+b+c+d=2001 and b+d=2002, what is the value of a-b+c-d?
Answer by orca(409) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a - b + c - d
= a -b + c - d + (b + d - b - d)
= a + b + c + d -2b - 2d
= (a + b + c + d) - 2(b + d)
= 2001 - 2*2002
= -2003
