.
Let x = non-student tickets
then from "There were 1000 more students at the soccer game than nonstudents"
x+1000 = student tickets
.
And, because total revenue was $75,925:
13.25x + 8.50(x+1000) = 75925
13.25x + 8.50x + 8500 = 75925
21.75x + 8500 = 75925
21.75x = 67425
x = 3100 (non-student tickets)
.
student tickets:
x+1000 = 3100+1000 = 4100 (student tickets)
