Morgan needs gas for her jeep, which get 26 miles per gallon for gas mileage, when she stops at the gas station, she already has 10 gallons of gas in her tank. She buys $1.60 per gallon.

Answer by mangopeeler07(462)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x=gallons of gas
y=miles
160x=2100 *(160 and 2100 is the money in cents)
26(x+10)=y

160x=2100
x=13.125
26(13.125+10)=y
26(23.125)=y
601.25=y

distance=601.3 miles
