you know your slope is -1%2F2. This will be the coefficient of the x-variable in the equation.
You also know that the y intercept is 7. What does this mean? It means that when x=0, y=7.
So basically all this graph is the equation y=-1%2F2x moved up 7 spaces.
so we have y=-1%2F2x+7. Note that when x=0. y=-1%2F2(0) + 7 = 7, just as we wanted.
