Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.4X+.10(10-X)=.25*10
.4X+1-.10X=2.5
.3X=2.5-1
.3X=1.5
X=1.5/.3
X=5 POUNDS OF 40% MIX & 5 POUNDS OF 10% MIX.
PROOF:
.4*5+.10*5=.25*10
2+.5=2.5
2.5=2.5
