if the length of a rectangle is six times it width.
x = the width
then
6x = the length
if the area of the rectangle is 486m^2
x * 6x = 486
6x^2 = 486
x^2 = 486/6
x^2 = 81
x =
x = 9 m is the width
then
6*9 = 54 m is the length
:
what is the perimeter
2(54) + 2(9) = 126 m is the perimeter
