Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2S+c=2.80
3S+c=3.75
subtract top from bottom
S=$0.95
so C=$0.90
Alternatively (2, 2.80) (3, 3.75)
slope is $0.95 per cone (linear equation)
y-y1=m(x-x1), m slope and (x1, y1) point
y-2.80=0.95(x-2)
y=$0.95x+$0.90 models this
the slope is the cost per scoop
the intercept is the cost per cone, since s=0.
