the total cost for the day is equal to 1000 + 50p.
p represents the number of phones produced for the day.
when C represents the total cost, the equation is:
C = 1000 + 50p.
when p = 1, C = 1000 + 50 * 1 = 1050
when p = 10, C = 1000 + 50 * 10 = 1500
when p = 50, C = 1000 + 50 * 50 = 3500
when p = 100, C = 1000 + 50 * 100 = 6000.
