It is not for the first time I see this number  "1.67"  in the post,

and I think that these problems go from the same source.


I think that I do understand your idea,  but I think also that you are struggling
because you have no an appropriate word in your mouth to express your idea adequately.


This word is the  "increment"  in this case.
